Monday after Christmas

In my pajamas so no pictures! No cleaning today; no scurrying today. No nothing I have to do today. Just sit and relax and enjoy the family.

Before church we had time to play - which is where the Boy spent his morning, while his littlest sister played with her new babies

I spent the morning shopping for new pajamas for the family - which they are modeling here

Visiting with the niece and nephew-in-law from Washington

Wednesday the Noisy

The kids are back.
The house is a mess.
I'm going shopping.

Tuesday

More shopping, actually. Because ...

there are still no other kids in the house.

And also some cleaning of the girls' room. No picture necessary, just imagine a tornado swirling in there .. and me in the middle of it with my hands on my hips.

Monday the Quiet

No kids in the house except the 1 year old!
We went SHOPPING.
ALL. Day. Long. Well, except for that nice nap she and I had in the mid-afternoon.

It will be preserved no matter what.

Saturday

Baking carrot bread for some neighbors.
And doing laundry.

Friday

Trip to Costco with the husband and girls. It was actually a fun time. My dear husband said he could buy a lot of things there. I replied... that's why I don't bring you here but once a year.

Wednesday

I rolled out and baked 64 sugar cookies for my son's youth group. It will be awhile before I *want* to make these again.

Tuesday

A little Christmas shopping this morning.
I can't take a picture, because then Someone would know what they are getting this year. ;)

Basically, God's grace will sustain us, God's grace is sovereign. Because our prayers aren't always answered in 24 hours.

No power/ electricity all day long. At least we had to leave for Bible study in the morning.
