This cooler weather has me in a baking mode. Today I made bread - delicious bread.

Bunny wanted in on the action also. I didn't know bunnies liked bread so much.

Monday

We haven't officially started school, but I decided to ease the girls into it little by little. And of course the littlest one wanted to join in.

Saturday

It was cool enough to do a tiny bit of a baking, with a tiny helper.

Thursday

Waiting for these peaches to ripen just a little bit more. And then yuuuummmmm.
Waiting for a pickup to be fixed.
Waiting for ... a new nephew to be born.

Wednesday

Making potato salad and apple pie. Separately. With my helpers.

My baby has a sweet tooth. Her hugging the package of sugar was just extra confirmation on it.

Once again. Beans. So many beans. At least we also have jelly beans - the sugary kind.

Wednesday Catch up

How could a week go by like this past one?! Wow, it was busy for me. So much so, that I didn't get any time to post here.
So it's update day. Starting with today and working my way backwards:
WED: Farm day (and yet... no photos.) picked beans, carrots, cucumbers! and potatoes;
 TUES: was beach day and then swim lessons and then out to my parents day (maybe I should title this Driving Day)

MON: was school supply shopping day
SUN: was when I got to see my high school friend, who finally lives only an hour away instead of 1000s of miles away
SAT: was grocery day, and clean the garage day
FRI: the Princess got her cast put on, and I drove to a nearby town to order schoolbooks (which actually saved me $50 in shipping costs)

And EACH day was editing day - working on a document for someone else. With a deadline.
And there you have it. An abbreviated look at my past week. I'm glad it looks a lot less busy now.

I do have pictures. And an update. But not here. not yet. I'll be back once my work load calms down a little!

Thursday

6 batches of beans canned today. That means 42 jars. That's a lot of beans.

There were beans everywhere in the kitchen.

We even had beans with supper.

Wednesday

Beans coming out of ears (figuratively speaking). I'll be canning from now until school starts.
